Workspaces
Switch personal, company, and client workspaces, or view All workspaces.
A workspace is one organization: your personal space, a company you own or joined, or a company that invited you as a client.
Switch workspaces
- Find the workspace button in the sidebar (desktop) or the top bar (mobile). It shows the current name, or All workspaces.
- Open it and pick:
- Your personal workspace
- A company workspace
- A client org, labeled (client)
- All workspaces (only if you can access more than one)
Workspace settings at the bottom of the switcher opens Workspace for the current workspace.
Personal vs company
| Kind | What you get |
|---|---|
| Personal | Projects, tasks, clients, time, invoices, finance, reports. No Teams or Members. |
| Company | All of the above plus Teams, Members & roles, and staff invites. |
Your role in a company is Owner, Admin, Member, or Viewer. Client access shows as Client.
Additional workspaces
Creating extra company workspaces is paused for now. Join an existing company with an invite, or use the workspace created at signup.
Owners and admins can rename the workspace under General (Name, Save workspace). The URL slug updates with the name.
All workspaces
Use this to see Home, Projects, and Tasks across every workspace you can access.
- Lists show a workspace badge so you know which org an item belongs to.
- Creating a project or task asks you to pick a workspace.
- Teams, Clients, Members, Reports, Invoices, Shared, Finance, Billing, and Workspace settings are hidden. Opening those URLs sends you back to Home.
- Permissions are the highest access you have in any membership (for example, if you can operate tasks in one org, Add task stays available).
Switch back to a single workspace when you need clients, billing, or members.
